Young Ukrainian karate players performed brilliantly at the final tournament of the year - the stage of the Karate 1-Youth League, which took place on December 9-12 in Venice (Italy). Having won 11 gold medals, the athletes from Ukraine were ahead of the teams of Italy and Spain in the overall standings.
The last stage of the Youth League closed the season. The tournament, which took place at the Palainvent sports complex in the beach suburb of Venice Lido di Jesolo, brought together 2,047 young athletes from 52 countries.
